Cleaned and installed approximately 160 LF. of 4x6 angle to construct a containment bay to control paint spillage on the second-floor paint booth at the Hanna Steel Facility in Fairfield Alabama. Existing floor at the perimeter was cleaned and continuous angle welded in place to enclose the area. A step was added at the top of the stairs to the platform along with a handrail extension to keep code compliant.
A continuous fire watch on the second and first floor was in place during welding process and an hour after all welding was completed each day.
